File Picker: Update field does not take new value

In the community template, I uploaded a new logo image in the top left part of
the template. I validated the page. Everything is ok.
With another user (John - RW rights on the site), I tried to update the logo.
So I created a few directories and uploaded another image. Then I selected my
newly uploaded image and clicked on Ok. Nothing happens and I still have the
old image on the screen. If I update my container again, the old image is still
selected.
BTW: My John user see the directories of virtual sites on which he has no
access. This could be normal has the guest user has rights on such virtual
sites space. But such directories do not appear any more in the main file
manager. So it now looks like quite strange.
