Stephane Croisier commented on JAHIA-3868:
------------------------------------------
Another thing. this is not easy to understand how to remove your current
aliasing. I would make the username in the toolbar "ADUMAS" clickable. As soon
as clicked this will switch again to the ADUMAS standard preview behaviour and
cancel the current aliasing.
We could also think about keeping somewhere in the session the latest aliasing
used. So this would keep the two "aliases" (the principal and the "preview")
such as ADUMAS (GUEST). One would be active (black) and another one inactive
(grey). By clicking on the grey one this would switch to the other user. So you
would be able to very rapidly "mount" your guest user and then be able to
rapidly preview the current page for guest or for yourself.
If the push the paradigm a bit later we could use such "aliasing" as a bookmark
toolbar. So an editor would be able to "mount" serveral aliases in preview mode
such as ADUMAS (guest / John / Steven) and be able to rapidly switch from one
to the other without having to go each time in the advanced setting modes. We
could even serialize that in the Preference API.

> I am currently logued with a LDAP user (ADUMAS). Then I use the advanced
> preview mode in order to preview my page with the guest user.
> 1) the toolbar now indicates "guest" as the login name. This is quite
> confusing as my "principal" is still ADUMAS. So I would prefer that we
> display something like : "ADUMAS (guest)"
> 2) there is a problem with the user information within the community template
> (top right information) as they still indicate ADUMAS while it should
> indicate guest (or nothing at all in the case of guest)
