Islam El-Sayed commented on JAHIA-3888:
---------------------------------------
We now have a licenses directory, just like alfresco, that needs to be updated.
LICENSE file at the root of Tomcat has been replaced by the one used in Jahia
> GPL switch: Modify TXT license file in the Jahia directories

> Currently the LICENSE file at the root of Jahia installation is.... The
> Apache license! (probabaly inherited form Tomcat).
> We should really take care of all these licensing issues. We should create a
> new directory with all plicense bundled with Jahia. We should also make a
> notice listing all disclaimers we should mention for all other open source
> libraries we are using. Finally in the product itself (about Jahia page) we
> should add a new tab which will list all the other open source librarires we
> are using.
> This is important to be "clean" towards other open source libarires as we
> will move to GPL. So we should "respect" carefully all other license terms
> and conditions.
> Please check what Alfresco did in the sub-directories (just install Alfresco
> to check it)
