Container list sorted on creation date: list seems to be empty after sorter

With community templates, template simple, I have created 2 main contents.
Then, I have sorted them by creation date, descending.
After having validated, my page is refreshed, and my container list is empty. I
have updated it to remove my sort: as the cnt list is empty, I can't sort it.
I have tried to add some other containers: my ctn list keeps empty.
I thought it was a problem with pagination, so I have added the two following
lines in community_templates/common/maincontentDisplay.jsp:
full size: ${maincontentList.fullSize}<br />
size: ${maincontentList.size}<br />
-> it displays 0, even with fullSize
