Hi, I looked for a java application managing flashcards recently because I thought it could be useful for my students (and for that needed a multiplatform application) and it looks like jMemorize could be my best bet. (I had a look at pauker too, but unless I am misstaken, it can't include images in cards so I discarded it...)
Teaching math, most of my cards will include formulas that I want to create with LatexIt. The process of composing a formula with latexit, save it as a bitmap (png) then import it into jMemorize is a rather painful and time consuming task. The most common way to use LatexIt is to copy and paste. So would pasting an image (in a bitmap format such as .png) be doable in a future version of jMemorize ? (Unfortunately, I would know how to do it in cocoa/objective-c development, but I'm afraid I know about nothing as far as java development goes...) Regards, Pierre-Henri P.S. : if I am to use jMemorize in a regular basis, I'll work on the french localization which is rather incomplete it seems... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
