I believe TextDriver was the original incarnation of a command-line only version of JMeter, but it only took a single URL as a parameter to test. The NonGuiDriver takes a .jmx file as it's argument, and runs a whole test. But, I could be wrong. If I'm right, TextDriver should go away, and NonGuiDriver should be documented.
