Hi, I do not know if I am meant to reply to this as I do not think I am an official developer for JMeter yet but
Votes: 1. +1 2. wait for new documentation, this will make it easier for users/developers 3a. +1 3b. +1 From bugzilla it looks like this bug is fixed, but a comment about a better solution should be found, therefore I do not think it should hold up the release 3c. -1 I think it should be fixed 3d. +1 I also believe that it was fixed, but not by me. 3e. +1 3f. 0 3g. +1 3h. 0 Regards Scott -----Original Message----- From: kevin hammond [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, October 29, 2001 11:51 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Release Plan Hi all, We talked about a final release of 1.7 a while ago. As I see it, here are the open items. If there are other items, please add them to the list ASAP. All developers, read this list of items and decide which item(s) MUST BE completed in order to release the final version of 1.7. Vote on each item. Those items not getting the votes will be postponed for a future release. (See http://jakarta.apache.org/site/decisions.html for voting information.) 1. Completion of Berin's SSL updates. (Berin, can you give us an update on your status? Thanks.) 2. New version of the User Manual. I'm working on it and it's taking a lot longer than expected. I have the stubs checked into CVS and quite a few screenshots. But, it's lacking in nearly all of the text. Things keep coming up! It's going to take at least another week or two to complete. 3. Open Bugs 3a. #4435 - I think we fixed this one a while back. Need to verify. 3b. #3626 - Minor. Does not have to be fixed for 1.7 release. 3c. #3630 - Minor. What do you guys think? The HTTP Auth table shows the password instead of "****". 3d. #4079 - I submitted somebody's (Scott?) code for the DB fix for JDBC connection screen. Can somebody verify that this bug has been fixed? 3e. #4423 - (JMeter doesn't compile). This was for the SSL stuff. Berin, can you close this once you complete your SSL updates? Thanks. 3f. #4425 - Checkbox on web test. (1) Bruce, the status of the checkbox does not have to be saved. Why? Here's the logic. If parameters are present in the XML file you load, then I "check" the checkbox. If no parameters are in the file, then I do not. (2) Mike, I have not tested with the proxy server. I will have to investigate what you have reported. Is this a showstopper? (3) Many GUI applications use the checkbox for this type of behavior. 3g. #4466. Missing version # in About box. Fixed in 1.7. 3h. #3182. HTTPS support of recording browser activity. (Berin, are you working on this one? If so, what is your status?)
