OK, but I'm still confused.

It sounds like you are saying that only two machines
are involved: the client running the JMeter GUI
(jmeter.bat) and the server running the JMeter Server
(jmeter-server.bat). Is this correct? The current
documentation describes this.

Instead of running jmeter-server.bat on the
application server, could I run it on say five PC's.
Each PC would send requests to the application server.
I would run a single JMeter GUI client (jmeter.bat) to
control each of the five PC's running the JMeter
Server. Can I do this? If so, I would like to add
this to the documentation. This scenario sounds a lot
more useful to me since it scales to any number of
PC's (or other machines) I can use to simulate users.

Thanks,
Kevin Hammond
