Hi. I just downloaded, and tried out the 1.7b3 jar file yesterday. I am in the midst of writing my own extension, working on "saveability" (that's another email). Once I tried to save my Generative Controller, the JVM crashed. I had not seen this problem using the 1.7b2 file, my own class files did not change between versions.
Specifically, I'm recieving a "HotSpot Virtual Machine Error, EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". I had been having some JRE problems recently, so the problem may be something in my environment. However, once I (re)built JMeter from source it worked fine. This seems to be completely repeatable for me. I'm running WindowsNT 4.00.1381 Service Pack 6. I haven't tried it on any other platforms yet. If I get a chance, I might try it out on Win2k, Solaris 8, or Redhat 7.0. I'm using the following JVM: java version "1.3.0" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode) --Tim O'Connor -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
