Hi guys, I'm away at the moment (work purposes). Won't have access to CVS till 10 Mar 2002.
At the moment the JNDI components are still a bit raw. It's functional but it's not complete e.g. executing Java remote methods requires arguemnts but currently only primitive arguments are supported, certain JNDI components can't be saved. As such I don't really want to announce the JNDI functionality yet. Also I'll take care of all the JNDI documentations, once I feel that the JNDI components are ready. If however, anyone feels that I should proceed to announce whatever JNDI functionality JMeter has at the moment then I will focus on the docs immediately. neth ---- Begin Original Message ---- From: "Jim Boutcher" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Mon, 4 Mar 2002 20:42:21 -0600 To: "JMeter Developers List" <jmeter- [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: beta3 announce? +1 .. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stover, Michael" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 10:29 AM Subject: beta3 announce? > Beta 3 looks pretty decent to me, particularly in comparison to the previous > beta's. I think we should announce it on the user list. Anyone disagree? > > On other things, here's what I've been up to: > 1. Documentation - having a lot of fun with Anakia. I've made a simple > template for documenting JMeter components. You can see it in > /xdocs/usermanual/component_reference.xml. > 2. I applied a fix to the proxy server so it correctly shuts down when you > hit "Stop". Also, Stop and Start enable/disable as you'd expect now. > > Thanks to Alexander Kunkel > 3. Applied a patch for Japanese internationalization. > > Thanks to ami and Okamoto-san > 4.
