Add these lines to src/org/apache/jmeter/resources/messages.properties:
threadnumber_modifier_title=Thread Number Modifier
threadnumber_modifier_memo= This modifier replaces the text
$$JMETER-THREAD$$ with the numeric ID of the currently executing thread.
