If were going to make JMeter "scritable", we should consider the Bean
Scripting Framework (BSF). It allows one to choose between JavaScript
(Rhino), Tcl, JaCL and I believe Jython (maybe not fully supported yet). I
believe other scripting languages will jump on the BSF bandwagon as well.

I'm not a hard-core advocate of BSF yet. I've only read a little about it
and executed a few samples. But it looks promising.
