I've had problems trying to run JMeter directly from the .class files within Eclipse.
I think the issue is with how JMeter builds up its internal classpath. JMeter "hard
codes" ../lib and ../lib/ext directories to the classpath and looks for the JMeter
code there.

I don't have a good work around. You can write code in Eclipse and then create the
JMeter jar files to actually run it.

Subject: Eclipse and starting JMeter

Hello,

I'am using WinNT 4, jdk 1.4.1 and the latest JMeter cvs version.
But when I'am starting JMeter in Eclipse (2.0) and e.g. start the "Function
Helper Dialog" I get 2 (two) dialog windows and both with 8 entries to
choose a function:

__unknownFunktion
__counter
__regexFunction
__threadNum
___a blank Line___
__unknownFunktion
__counter
__regexFunction
__threadNum

I'am starting JMeter with Run-> NewDriver. If I start the same JMeter
classes with the jmeter.bat (ApacheJMeter.jar) than it is all ok.

Know anybody something about this problem?
