http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16061 Random controller does not seem to be very random Summary: Random controller does not seem to be very random Product: JMeter Version: 1.8 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Main AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Random controller does not seem to be very random on a per thread basis. I have been running a test script with 50 threads and a random controller that selects between two possibilities. Almost without fail all 50 threads follow the same pattern for each loop in the thread group (all threads select the first option, then all threads do the second option, etc.) Very occasionally I may have experienced a case where threads within a single loop process select different options from the random controller - the overall behaviour is nothing like random selection. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
