"Kown bugs" listing

Would it be a good idea to change the "Known bugs" link in the project's 
home page to include RESOLVED bugs in the listing? These are bugs that 
are present in the current release but not on CVS. We would probably 
avoid quite a few duplicates in this way (I've seen a few of this kind).

The alternative is to write a page describing the essentials of the bug 
tracking process and providing both links.
