You also mentioned an HTML Select Options Extractor. What exactly would this do? The HTML Form Field Value Extractor can already extract a single value from a select element (given the option text). Were you thinking this would be a whole different test element, or would it do more?
I guess this question is for me.
I was rather thinking about the HTML Form Field Value Extractor as extracting the currently selected (default) value for the select element.
The HTML Select Options Extractor would do what you suggest for the Field Value E.: extract an option value given the option name (or a Regexp for it) or the option index. Additional features would be to extract a random option value or even the whole list of available options, similar to what I was suggesting for the Link HRef Extractor (of course we need a way to handle arrays of values first).
Just an idea.
