But for JDBC testing the jmeter.log does not have sufficient info debugging the problem. Set up a JDBC test. Type in a wrong JDBC URL or JDBC class driver, the error log will not tell you whats wrong. Even after setting the DEBUG flag nothing is shown. Ideazlly when the debug flag is turned on all the traffic back and forth including exceptions caught by JMETER could be logged. This would greatly improve debugging in case of any problem abd would greatly enhance the usability of otherwise a useful tool.
