If anyone wants to try and break the sampler, please do! Since posting it, I've found the following: - logging destination is not set up correctly (ideally needs to use the existing logkit) - Sometimes gets unretriable error using Tomcat; not sure what causes this yet or how to fix it.
The software is a lot more flexible than the default Sun implementation. - e.g. real connection re-use, "wire" debug logging However, I think there are some areas that could be improved: - error reporting: it does not show the original error cause, as far as I can tell - debug logging: e.g. the socket allocation code does not log anything I've not had a chance to test the Post functionality.
