As Peter mentioned, Avalon is used. Perhaps the documentation needs to be corrected. In the docs\extending\JMeter Extension Scenario.html article, In the Tips section, it says that log4j is used. If this is incorrect, it should be corrected. - Anil Philip

In the documentation, I read that JMeter uses log4j, but in the code eg. TCPSampler, I find this import? import org.apache.log.Logger; Is this a different logging package? - Thanks, Anil -----Original Message----- From: Anil Philip [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 23, 2004 11:06 AM To: 'JMeter Developers List' Subject: RE: is there any developer help available on this list? No replies from anyone...? Later on IF it works well, I can use the DII (Dynamic Invocation Interface) feature in Corba to make it generic, so that a corba module can be added to JMeter to test corba servers. Thanks, Anil -----Original Message----- From: Anil Philip [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 23, 2004 10:28 AM To: 'JMeter Developers List' Subject: is there any developer help available on this list? Hello, I am trying to write a corba Sampler on the lines of the TCP Sampler. However, I am new to JMeter and need to get this working in a hurry - in the next day or two (it is not part of the project deliverables). Is there developer help on this list? I don't intend for anyone to write code for me, but I would expect to have my questions answered and to offer guidance through the JMeter system when stuck.
