Probably easier to continue discussions here...
The patch has quite a few spurious changes;
* some specific imports have been replaced by .*. This is not the
standard in Meter code.
* various spacing changes have occurred in existing code.
These make it a lot harder to review the changes.
Sorry for the inconvenience. The patch has been updated and cleaned up.
The documentation also needs to be updated.
I'll update the docs and create a patch, if you think we can work
around the issue below.
The build file for the wrapper jar seems to need a lot of 3rd party
jars, some of which could clash with the JMeter jars.
It looks like it is not possible to compile the wrapper without the
soapui jars, which could make releases a pain.
Sorry, but I think it needs more work before anything can be included
with JMeter.
Understood. What would be the best approach? The reason for the
wrapper is so that you do not have to have the soap ui jars in order
to compile JMeter with this patch. The compiled wrapper would be
checked in to rel-2-2/lib in the same way commons-codec, etc is
checked in. Only if you want to generate a skeleton template would
you need the soap ui jars at runtime.
Thanks,
Sumit
