http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42427 Summary: Application unusably slow Product: JMeter Version: 2.2 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Main AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] When I start JMeter with "bash bin/jmeter", it takes a very long time (about 2 minutes) for the first screen to appear, and the CPU is pegged at 100% the entire time. After I choose "Help" from the "Help" menu, it takes about 20 seconds for the help window to appear, and it takes another 40 seconds or so for any content to appear. When I highlight the content that shows up in that window using the mouse, the following appears in the terminal I used to start JMeter: GC Warning: Repeated allocation of very large block (appr. size 593920): May lead to memory leak and poor performance. If I obscure the Help pop-up with another window and un-obscure it, it takes longer to redraw than I'm willing to wait, so I've killed the application and am going to write some custom scripts instead of using JMeter. This is on a 1.4GHz Toshiba laptop with about 700MB of RAM, running Fedora 6. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
