We are doing investigations on how to implement a Step Test (Run with Threads = 1, then 3, then......15)
It appears as if the ThreadGroup is not that dynamic. Once it's configured, it just goes. We are using Silk in some performance testing, but we want to use JMeter to automate the Silk. Silk has facilities to detail the STEPs themselves, and increment the Thread count, etc. Everything within Loop or While of IF controls don't have the power to change the ThreadGroup. We're currently looking more towards controllling/launching from ant or Java now. Interested in any ideas on Step Test implementation suggestions.
