I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) that you need rt.jar.
But you do need tools.jar located i JAVA_HOME/lib
Do you have this in you build.sh:
if test -f $JAVA_HOME/lib/tools.jar ; then
CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:${JAVA_HOME}/lib/tools.jar
fi
And what shell are you using?
