JMeter Proxy does not work with Site Minder

Hi,

I am using JMeter 1.7 with JDK 1.2.2.

We use Site Minder for user authentication. I ran JMeter
Proxy at the client end and tried to access our web page
(which requires user authentication). 
But I get Netscape dialog box with message like :  "The document contained
no data..."

and the Proxy Server throws following exception:
java.io.IOException
        at
org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.sampler.HTTPSampler.sample(HTTPSampler.java,
Compiled Code)
        at
org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.sampler.HTTPSampler.sample(HTTPSampler.java,

Can someone help me please.
