I've noticed a problem exhibitted by both Javamail and JMeter on our network. I'm not sure if it's java.net, or what it is. However, with Javamail, I seem to get stalling when downloading arbitrarily large message attachments, but it will eventually finish, if I let it run for long enough. With JMeter, it stalls after so many requests (about 220, if i'm using the proxy feature), or about 20-25 if i'm using my own script.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it a bug in the Java class libraries, or is it a bug in both JMeter and Javamail? It's not a problem with the network, because regular Berkeley sockets applications do not stall. I've experienced this in JMeter 1.75, and the nightly builds up to and including August 2. I have also experienced this in Javamail 1.2. Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
