Ok, I've cheated and re-released 1.7.3 after fixing the problem that you couldn't delete arguments in the HTTP Request GUI.
Because of the vagaries of Swing (and my general ignorance of them), I had to remove the column that displayed how the argument would be encoded. It did nothing and was only there for display. The column for turning encoding on or off is still there, however.
