I have cgot my authworking although it was more by chance than anything

i followed the notes on URL rewriting and adding a Modification Manager and
a HTML Link parser

thsi didn't work omn it's own but when i added in an Authorisation Manager
again it worked

I'll play around with the config after i've done our tests

I have just learned myself that 1.8 requires jdk1.4.1 to run (maybe
jdk1.4.0 will work as well).

I can not help you with the auth manager as I have never used
it...sorry.
