I've been using JMeter a lot lately and I think its great, but... it would be really helpful if there were some way to step through a test plan, one item at a time and examine the results. It's not always clear where the best place to put assertions is, for example. Also, since the application that I'm testing will sometimes throws exceptions due to an attempt to create duplicate data it would be much easier to sort out my problems if there was some easy way to step through it.
