Hi Gero, since I'm at work I cannot test it under linux but that shouldn't make a difference here anyway. And so you *shouldn't* have to recompile. But maybe that's just theory.
Anyway: Using Win NT and a fresh CVS-checkout I could see the MailerVisualizer just depending upon the jar-files being in the lib-directory or not without the need to recompile. I cannot see why it should work any different under linux. I'm really interested to see what the results will be at home this evening. I must admit, I'm puzzled by your findings...
