You are able to test it through the web now, but it runs out of memory, and now you want to test just the pdf generating program minus the web server part. Is this correct?
You can do this in JMeter, but you have to write what's called a "Java Sampler" - your own code that bridges from JMeter to the PDF generating application (I'm assuming you have some way of running it from Java).
