reg expr doesn't work for html link parser??

There is a message posted a couple of days ago saying that the reg exp
didn't work for HTML link parser. I tried it today and found it didn't work
for me either.

version: jmeter-1.8.1 on win2k

my plan is someting like:


test plan
    thread group
            http request
            simple controller
                        html link parser
                        http request
    aggregate report


in the second  http request, I used * as the path.
