I have tried with Cookie manager too , but it fails .. it rethows the login
page again. I have not added any Cookie settings in Cookie manager.
The page is rethrowing the Logon page back .
Does the user parmaters(user id and password) gets modified during
redirection.

Did you put the parameters into the HTTP Request as well? Maybe you need
a CookieManager added to your test plan? It's hard to tell from here.....
