Hi, still working on my SSL-PKI stress Test... 1st: I wanted to ask why is the "Keep alive" option per sampler is selected by default when you use the recording facility (I use 1.9RC3)... This made me tilt the SSL connection limit on the test station and I had to un-selected everything and it takes a lot of time even with an XML parsing/replace tool... I do not understand why it has to be the default... ? Anyway, unselecting "Keep Alive" works well and I only have 1 or 2 simultaneous SSL connection. good.
2nd: As I was using the network tools to diagnose my problem I could see that every sampler makes a new SSL connection/negociation... As I have 80 Samplers in my Test (including pictures, css, ...), it overstresses our ReverseProxies and I can understand that every sampling time given by JMeter include this renegociation. Is there a way to persuade JMeter to reuse an existing SSL connection ? At least if I use the Sampler option to automaticaly retrieve images&Applets (instead of having 1 sampler per object as recorded), will it reuse the SSL connection of the "parent" sampler or still create a new one for every Request ?
