I've only been using JMeter 1.8.1 for about a week and I downloaded 1.9 this weekend. I'm running it on RedHat 8.0 using the 1.4.1_02 JRE. I'm using a Graph Results Listener against an HTTP Request element (I also have an HTTP Cookie Manager and a couple of other listeners). Now that I've switched to 1.9 it appears that the Graph Resulsts Listner is maintaining some information on previous test plan runs even after I do a 'clear all.'
When I start up JMeter and run the test plan I get a very high throughput value (~5000 req/min) and the value starts off within this range. However, once I stop the test plan, do a clear all, and start it up again the throughput starts at 0 and arcs upwards. Furthermore, the more times I stop and restart the lower the arc tops out at (eventually topping out under 10 req/min). If I actually quit JMeter and start it back up again the throughput will start off high again. This did not happen in 1.8.1. I've also tested this against static web pages and the results are the same. Any help on what I may be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
