Hi Luke,

If you are using a Win32 platform then you might like to try using Badboy:

 http://www.badboy.com.au

It should record the popup windows and https requests, and you can save the 
file in JMeter format using the "Export to JMeter" option.

Note the saved jmeter format is being significantly improved in the 1.3-beta-3 
release which should be happening this weekend, or shortly thereafter.
