My understanding of the spline visualizer is that it groups the sample times into 10 groups. The first group is first 10% of the total samples. The second group is the next 10% of all the samples. An average is calculated for each group, and the data points are plotted with a spline curve generated to connect them.
In essence, you get a compressed view of the sample data points. -Mike On 21 Aug 2003 at 14:58, Laurent MEDIONI wrote: > Hi, > I was trying to explain to someone the meaning of the Spline Visualiser > curve... and just discovered that it is not what I thought when reading the > documentation... > > Does anyone have an explanation of the graph ? > > Thanks, > Laurent > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: jmeter-user- [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: jmeter-user- [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -- Michael Stover [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo IM: mstover_ya ICQ: 152975688 AIM: mstover777 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
