Hi,
I've found that I have to remove the Xincgc option when I'm doing remote
testing with a large number of clients. The JVM recognises it but the
constant garbage collection slows the controller pc so much that the
clients get socket errors trying to report their results. I'd say for
remote testing (at least in my situation) you get better results by
removing the incgc option

Hi ,
I have one question. I'm downloading jmeter version 1.9.1 for performance
testing. And it has some batch file(jmeter.bat) in which java is run with
-Xincgc option which is throwing some error whenever I try to start jmeter
from the command prompt. When I remove this "-Xincgc" , it runs fine.
But I am not very sure by removing -Xincgc option , I can trust my results.
