I've just realised that the IfController was added after 1.9.1. So is not available unless you can get hold of one of the nightly builds (a bit tricky at present, as there seem to be quite a few failures the other builds that JMeter depends on...)
Sorry about that. S. P.S. I'm trying to find out how to get round the problem with the nightly builds... -----Original Message----- From: BAZLEY, Sebastian Sent: 21 November 2003 13:01 To: 'JMeter Users List' Subject: RE: Remote Test with different TestPlans Probably best to use batch mode instead; client-server mode can use a lot of network resources, and the client node can quickly become a bottleneck. However, if you really want to try this, it would be theoretically possible to do it by using multiple IfControllers, one for each server, and have the IfController check the local hostname. Or, if you can parameterise the tests such that each plan is the same, you could just use different data files for each host. Have a look at the JMeter FAQ (linked from the home page) - there is some information on Remote mode and parameterising, amongst other things. The Controller loads the TestPlan and execute it per "Remote Start all" at each Client. My Problem is that only one test plan could be executed; e.g 9 Clients are doing "the same"; is it possible to execute different test plans on each Client ?
