Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if I can use JMeter to login to Microsoft Passport? I am trying to create a test plan that involves having to login to Microsoft Passport. Here are the steps that I'm having trouble automating using JMeter: 1.) Go to http://alerts.passport.com <http://alerts.passport.com/> <http://alerts.passport.com/> 2.) Click on MSN Autos link -- I will be taken to http://login.passport.net/uilogin.srf?id=6677 3.) Then I would type in a Passport ID and password, then hit Sign In button. I should be able to successfully sign into Passport, but this is where I am having trouble, because if I use JMeter I am unable to sign in. I know that I am unable to sign in because I am unable to get to the next page, and the Sign In button does not turn into a Sign Out button. I suspect there is an issue here with cookies, but I am not sure. How can I use JMeter to do these three steps? I tried looking for answers in the JMeter-user mailing list archives, but could not find any. The only thing I can think of trying is to get BadBoy software and see if it can record the whole process for me and then convert it into JMeter script/XML. I am using JMeter 1.9.1. Thanks, Alan Chan
