Actually, I have found the cause of the issue, and am working on a
resolution.

I will subscribe to the developer list, let them know about the problem,
and my solution, and will offer up my change files.

Perhaps you could create a Bugzilla issue and attach a test case?
Plus any relevant log file.

That would make it easier for others to chip in if they wanted.

Actually, that is not the issue -- that is what I thought it was at
first. But I have started to debug the application, and it looks like
the configuration for the CookieManager is getting blown away somewhere,
with the predefined cookies in it.

I am going to see if I can track down the real issue here.

I've not used predefined cookies, but the most likely cause is that the
cookie domain is not being matched ny the Cookie Manager.

Might be worth turning on DEBUG logging - if this does not help, then
perhaps a Bugzilla enhancement request needs creating to improve the
debug logging for that area.

I have tried adding a stored cookie into the CookieManager, so that it
will send it to all of my pages. No matter what configuration I use, it
doesn't seem to pass the cookie to the request.

I have downloaded the source, and just started narrowing down the
problem, but I can say that in the getCookieHeaderForURL in
CookieManager, the enumeration that contains all of the cookies, does
not contain my cookie that I have stored -- it seems to never get set.

Is this a known issue?
