I hope this hints at something......Kindly do let me know if you need

How does your application track whether or not a user has logged in yet?
We use a cookie, and so we need to include the HTTP Cookie Manager in
our scripts.  Sounds like you already have that.  Can you post an
outline of your script?  For example:

Thread Group
  HTTP Request Defaults
  HTTP Cookie Manager
  Once Only Controller
    Simple Controller
      HTTP Request (Login page)
      HTTP Request (?end Login Info)
  Simple Controller

etc.
