Thanks Mike. Ok, so I've put my common simple controllers in an disabled thread group in the Test Plan part of the tree, and that seems to be working from the GUI at least - this means I don't have to load the workbench and merge the test script.
My problem now is that all but one of the Module Controllers are forgetting which controller they were pointing to when I save/close/start/load jmeter and script... Is this a bug?
