Just noticed that some new LDAP files and documentation have been attached to the Bugzilla entry http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=22394.
If you are able to build JMeter, you might like to try them. And the documentation may help, though I don't know if the new LDAP files have the same interface as the old ones (this should be clear if you compare the screenshots with the current JMeter). Otherwise, I daresay one of the committers will apply the changes in due course.
