I have now succeeded by using a user defined function based on __Random i.e
${__Random(1,1000000,myVar)}

Subject: Varying HTTP parameter value

I believe one can use the value of a counter to populate a HTTP parameter
value. From the documentation it seems to say that I can write ${__counter}. I
have created a 'counter' preprocessor element in my thread group. However if I
change the parameter value whose value I want to vary for each request to this
expression the HTTP request doesn't get executed at all. How could I use a
random number value in this situation?
