average = total time/number of requests median = the number in the middle of a set of numbers. in other words, half the response times are higher and half are lower deviaion = the standard deviation shows how much the response times vary. google for standard deviation to get the equation latest sample - is the last sample that completed throughput - this is the actual request per minute/second
