Looks like it is not in the classes12.jar.
Can't find it and if I remove this file, I get the same errors.

Any idea where I can get it?

Is this class present in the Informix jar? [Use zip or jar -t]

Are there any other messages in jmeter.log?

What happens if the Informix jar is not present - does it make any
difference to the messages that are logged?
