One solution is to set, the "Match No" value of the regular expression pane
to -1. It extracts all the values matching the expression et set them in
different variables.
If the reference name is myOid, the different values extracted are in these
variables: ${myOid_1_g1},  ${myOid_2_g1},  ${myOid_3_g1} ...
In the http request sampler after, you can reuse these variables,
${myOid_2_g1} for the second match.

Maybe, there is a solution, to get directly the second match, setting the
"Match No" value to 2, but I havn't tried it.

Hello everybody,

I testing a web application using Jmeter and I am trying to extract a value
from the
HTML response from the server.

The HTML response is the form of

<A
HREF="jsp/work/view_complete.jsp?oid=work%7Ewt.projmgmt.execution.ProjectWorkItem%3A3130022&u8=1">

<img src=images/completedWork.gif</B> ALT="Completed Task" TITLE="Completed
Task" hspace=0 vspace=0 border=0></A>

some html tags

<A
HREF="jsp/work/view_open.jsp?oid=work%7Ewt.projmgmt.execution.ProjectWorkItem%3A3133943&u8=1">

<img src=images/open_work.gif ALT="Task" TITLE="Task" hspace=0 vspace=0
border=0></A>

some html tags

<A
HREF="jsp/work/view_open.jsp?oid=work%7Ewt.projmgmt.execution.ProjectWorkItem%3A3133910&u8=1">

<img src=images/open_work.gif ALT="Task" TITLE="Task" hspace=0 vspace=0
border=0></A>

I would like to capture the oid value from the 2nd hyperlink and pass it on
to the next HTTP Request sampler.

I am able to capture the value for the first occurrence of oid using
regular
expression oid=(work[^<&]*).
How do i capture the value for the oid in the 2nd,3rd,4th..hyperlinks.

Please help...

Thanks.

 Saniel.
