thanks a lot for your help with my previous question on proxy servers. We
are a step further now but have run into new problems. Maybe somebody on
this list can offer help again.
We've managed to record a sequence of requests (thanks again, Carsten!) and
we have mainly solved our redirect problem. Now the initial request of a
thread group is executed (including the redirect). However, any subsequent
requests lose the session information. We know that the sensible thing to do
is to add a cookie manager to the thread group. Unfortunately, when we do
this, the redirect ceases working. Is there any known issue with the cookie
manager interfering with HTTP redirects? Do we have to configure the cookie
manager in any way? Where do we add the cookie manager? Is it a part of the
thread group or of an individual sample?
Possibly we have a grave misunderstanding of the cookie manager. Maybe
somebody can give us a hint. Terribly sorry that this description of our
problem is kind of vague. If you need further information to help us, please
send a short note. We'll gladly post any info that's needed.
