The JMeter usage we've been seeing here over the last few weeks has involved
a lot of fiddling with hosts files (in order to point to different test
servers with identical name-based virtual server configurations) and I've
certainly had to restart JMeter whenever I've edited the hosts file,
otherwise it continues to use the stale DNS entry.
