Just to clarify - you don't need to use BeanShell to use the log
function; you can use it anywhere that a variable can be used, e.g.
CSV Data set - defines VAR1
HTTP Sampler uses ${VAR1}
or you can put
HTTP Sampler uses ${__log(${VAR1})}
